So from what I can understand, Deniz is still flipping out from learning his mother basically sucks and is choosing her boyfriend over him? Marian is dealing with it cause he knows Deniz is hurt and that's why those two keep fighting? Deniz's [terrible] mother shows up at the end to sign over custody of Deniz to his Dad? (Loved her "make it quick" comment. Classy!)

Yes, that's basically what happens. Marian insists that Deniz should tell him what happened back in Munich, else he won't sign the papers. Deniz tells him in the next episode ...

Now I am wondering if my German comprehension is actually getting better cause I am able to follow things a lot more than I did a month ago. Heh.
